Setu Bondhon Foundation is a non-profit, non-political voluntary social welfare organisation based in Narail, Bangladesh. We work on education, cultural and human development, socio-economic development, gender and women empowerment, environment and climate change, and agriculture and health.
Our activities are concentrated in Narail district — Narail Sadar, Lohagara and Kalia upazilas — and we respond to emergencies beyond the district when we can.

Donation

Yes. Every donation is receipted. After sending your donation, fill in the short form on the Donation page with your transaction ID so that we can issue and send your receipt.
Yes. Choose a cause — education, health, women’s livelihood or emergency relief — in the donation form, and your contribution will be used only for that purpose.
Our accounts are kept programme-wise and audited annually, and the audit report is published on the Reports page. Please note that no representative of the Foundation will ever ask for your bKash PIN or OTP.
Volunteering
Anyone above 16 years of age who can give regular time. Students, teachers, doctors, farmers, IT professionals and homemakers all volunteer with us.
Volunteering is unpaid, but actual travel and food costs for field activities are reimbursed. Volunteers receive training and a certificate of service.
As much as you can. Some volunteers join one campaign a month; others help with a weekly learning centre. Tell us your availability in the application form.
