Founder’s Profile
Bijoy Dey – A Visionary Leader Dedicated to Humanity
Early Life and Childhood Born on September 18, 1988, in Agdia village under Kalora Union (Ward No. 8), Narail Sadar, Narail District, Bijoy Day grew up in a humble family with strong values of compassion and service. From his early years, he demonstrated creativity, resilience, and an innate desire to help others. His childhood in a rural setting allowed him to witness the hardships of poverty and inequality firsthand, shaping his deep empathy for the underprivileged. Education and Growth Alongside his studies, Bijoy actively engaged in social initiatives, believing that true progress comes not from individual success alone, but from collective development. As a student, he realized that education, healthcare, and economic empowerment are the pillars of sustainable social change. This realization inspired him to dedicate his life to building a better future for his community. Inspiration for Social Service Moved by the struggles of disadvantaged people, Bijoy often asked himself: “Why can’t everyone have equal opportunities?” This question became the driving force of his life’s mission. Over time, he understood that to bring lasting impact, there must be an organized platform to address the needs of marginalized communities. The Founder of Setu Bondhon Foundation With a vision to create equal opportunities and uplift society’s most vulnerable, Bijoy Day founded the Setu Bondhon Foundation 15-01-2010 in . Under his leadership, the foundation works tirelessly to promote education, healthcare, employment, and social justice. Today, it stands as a bridge of hope, empowering the poor and marginalized to live with dignity and equal rights. A Visionary Leader Bijoy Day is more than just a social worker—he is a dreamer, reformer, and humanitarian who believes that without equal access to opportunities, no society can achieve true progress. Through the Setu Bondhon Foundation, he continues to inspire positive change, striving to build a just, educated, and compassionate society.
